I went last week to have my rebel hair done. Max use the yuko hair straightening treatment. As I have very unruly... frizzy hair I was looking for a treatment that will make straight for getting quickly out of the house without using heat.I have to see this was the perfect treatment I just wash my hair and dry naturally and it is immediately perfect.The treatment lasted 4 hours to be done but it is worth every minute and penny.I’m so happy and it does I big change In my every day.Will have my treatment redone with Max for sure.read more

So I went into this place asking for help after a really bad hair experiment (don't ask!) and was not disappointed at... all! There is always a cup of tea and a chatty atmosphere.I have been coming here for several years now and know I will get an excellent cut and advice on my rather wild curly hair!!I would recommend Max and Anna for attention to detail, cool shop with great products and a great range of services.Although I have not had the Thai massage - I have seen the clients leaving looking super relaxed!! I had my hair cut by Max at Carlucci's and it was good the first time however when I went back, the cut was not good. I... received very poor customer service. Max seemed annoyed that I visited the salon with my very quiet baby and when I left the salon, he watched me struggle out of the door down two level of steps. He was unfriendly, seemed disinterested and when he cut my hair, he hacked at it leaving one side longer than the other. He also cut my fringe too thick, short and uneven. I wanted a long wispy fringe. The bob was too blunt and not softened with the weight taken out like I asked. He did not even offer a glass of water while I was there. I paid good money to get my hair cut with Max and expected to pay for his art and skill. Max had a negative demeanour and did not seem to care much about his profession or take any pride in his work as a hairdresser. Very disappointed as I thought Max showed great talent the first time I had it cut. It is a shame that Max did this as I will not be going back and he will lose my repeat business. I even referred his salon to a friend and my friend said that Max could not recall who I was. I also called the salon to get an appointment for a fringe trim but the receptionist said there were no appointments for that day but would call me back. She never did. If Max treats all of his customers like this I wonder if he gets any repeat business at all. I will now be seeking an alternative salon to have my hair cut corrected.read more

On top of that the hair wash was terribly rough, never experienced anything like that before. Overall, a bad experience.read more
